Our desire is to build a successful business; primarily to raise funds for many projects enriching the lives of Teens in Australia.

50% of Profits will be used to fund various activities that will enhance the lives of Teens in Australia. There are many Aussie Teens in need of ‘safe caring’ (foster care) homes and we are so eager to support families who are willing to fill this gap.

We could help one person at a time and with many hands, the work gets lighter. Even if ‘you & I’ manage to help One Aussie Teen, it means a lot to that individual than we could imagine: ‘That person will experience heaven on earth because of our help’. He in turn may lift lives of other Aussie Teens just the way he himself has been helped when in need.

These are the words of one of those individuals:
You think you have only been able to help one person! But it means a lot to me and has done a world of difference. If not for your help, I would not have been in this world very long, I was seriously considering my exit out of this world very soon!

Most likely you are aware of many problems that are on the rise with teenagers of today who will be the adults of tomorrow. Many Teens are turning to alcohol, substance abuse as a way of relief and amusement. A considerable percentage of Aussie Teens are suffering with depression, anxiety and tragically some end their lives, unless helped by some understanding, caring and strong adults.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of Teens in Australia!

I’m Nihal Samarasinghe.

Let me share with you why I’m so passionate about improving the lives of teenagers. It’s a very personal story. I have seen first-hand how tobacco, alcohol and substance abuse can harm young lives.

One of my own children nearly died from head injuries inflicted by a drug-affected youth. And another of my own kids began experimenting with drugs in Years 11 and 12 with his classmates. He was on a life-destroying path before my wife and I sent him to a lifestyle education centre to rescue him.

Thankfully, he’s now turned his life around. Since then, I’ve dreamed of helping other troubled teens and families facing similar challenges.

Family has always been important to me. I was born into a family of seven, growing up with three brothers and three sisters in Sri Lanka. I moved to Australia as a young man. It’s where I met my wife Niki and raised all our kids. We’re now proud grandparents and we want to partner with organisations that provide care services for troubled teens.

Did you know that suicide is the leading cause of death of young people in Australia? They are more likely to take their own life than be killed in a road accident. Many Aussie families are affected by teen & youth suicide (or suicide attempts) every day.[1]
We want to help make a difference. That’s why PlazaNow exists.

I’m excited about the opportunity to live a more fulfilled life from here on. I’m committed to the goal of making a positive impact on the lives of others, especially among Aussie Teens.
